Avid Fisherman And Gardener Was Gifted Musician

Rocky Ramsey, 86, of Chattanooga, died on October 21, 2016 in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Ramsey retired from the Carpenters Local Union after many years of service. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed gardening and was a gifted musician.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Ramsey and two daughters, Alicia Marsh and Judith King.

Survivors are his daughter, Pat Mahaffey;  grandchildren, Everett Kellis, J.D. (Tena) Kellis, Marlene (Ronnie) Pittman and Trina (Jeff) Wells;  great-granddaughter, Allyx Pittman; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
