David Wayne Clark, 57, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at his residence.
A native of Ormond Beach, Fl., he hds lived in the Ringgold area most of his life. He was a member of Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church, a former employee of American General where he worked for seven years, and has been owner-operator of Husband for Hire since 1996. David was a Civil War relic scuba diver and was an antique car enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Gordon Clark; and brother, Garry Lamar Clark, Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jeanine Fauscett Clark of Ringgold, GA.; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Rachel Clark of Ringgold, GA.; mother, Georgia Howard Clark of Ringgold, GA.; step-father, Harry “Bud” Harbst of Harrisburg, PA.; sister, Martha (Rick) Bean of Ft. Meyers, FL.; two brothers, Bobby (Mary) Clark of Ringgold, GA. and Steven (Daniel) Clark-Gibson of Signal Mtn. TN.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Frida, Oct. 21, at the Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Jay Tenney officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow at Keith Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
