Pair Arrested In Bradley County For String Of Burglaries

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection with several burglaries occurring within a two-day span.

Charged were Cody Dewayne Ballinger, 26, and Ronnie William Brannett 2nd, 40, both of Cleveland.

The Investigation began on Friday after a residence was burglarized on Ladd Springs Road during the daytime hours. The following day patrol deputies along with detectives continued to respond to other reported burglaries in the areas of White Oak Road, Tunnel Hill Road and Weatherly Switch Trail.

During the investigation, Ballinger and Brannett were identified as being responsible for the incidents.

They were found to be in possession of numerous items worth thousands of dollars which linked them to the burglaries, the Sheriff's Office said.

Ballinger is charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, four counts of burglary, theft over $10,000 and three counts of theft over $1,000.

Brannett is charged with aggravated burglary, two counts of burglary, theft over $10,000 and theft over $1,000.
