Stanley Wright
Stanley Ray Wright, a Marine warrior, died on October 17, 2016.
He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Ooh Rah! Stanley lived his whole life in the North Georgia area. He loved camping, hiking and hunting, but most of all, his Auburn Tigers-War Eagle! He was a man of few words, but had a deep heart. He spoke with honesty and wisdom, and was known to be a hard worker who cared deeply about his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Homer E. and Irene C. Wright.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Janice Blevins Wright; three daughters, Kristi (Jeff) Caissie, Kellie (Jason) McLeod, Karen (Darrel) Cross; five beautiful granddaughters that were the apple of his eye, Alisha Caissie, Auburn Pritchett, Kennedee Cross, Kyleigh Cross, and Willow McLeod; two brothers, Eddie (Sandra) Wright, Larry (Donna) Wright, three sister-in-laws, Jane Young, Julia Sexton and Mary McPherson; brother-in-law, Larry Blevins; a very dear personal friend, Earlene Arthur Ward; a slew of nieces and nephews that were all dear to his heart; and many wonderful friends that he loved.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Chattanooga, especially Doug Albriton and Judy Roden for their exceptional care for Stanley.
