Theodore "T.R." Bonds, 86, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1929 in Chatsworth, GA to the late Will and Zonnie Bonds; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Beck Bonds; sons, Craig L. Bonds and Larry Powell; sisters, Emma Jean Pardlow, Omma Jean Mitchell, Frances Crenshaw, and Will Dee Benton; brothers, Raymond Bonds, J. P. Bonds, James Edward Bonds, and Cecil Bonds..
He was the owner of Bonds Waste Company.
He is survived by two sons, William Steven Bonds (Karen Asbeury) and Rev. Chris (Margurite) Bonds; grandchildren, Derisha Moore, Missy Bonds; great-grandchildren, Mizzett Brown and Johnny Benton; six great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Guy Brett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2014 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., with Rev. Chris Bonds, Pastor Edward Hoggs, and other ministers officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6-7:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Center Valley Cemetery.
