A "Come to Bethlehem and See" event will be held on Dec. 16, 17, and 18 at Hickory Valley Christian Church , 6605 Shallowford Road in Chattanooga.
Doors open at 6 p.m. each night. The first tour begins at 6:15 p.m. and the last tour begins at 8 p.m.
"Take a trip back in time to experience the wonder and excitement of first century Bethlehem. Feel the press of the crowd in the packed marketplace, the panic of the innkeeper, the exhaustion of new parents, the surprise of the shepherds, and much more.
Remind yourself and your family and friends why we celebrate Christmas in the first place," officials said. "This free event is open to everyone and is especially great for families and groups. The event is also handicap accessible."
