After nine years of offering an annual Jazz Vespers, St. Timothy’s is devoting a whole Sunday to jazz music. Jazz Sunday is Jan. 31, with Jazz Mass at 10:30 a.m. and Jazz Vespers at 5 p.m.

All are welcome to attend these services. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be accepted at Vespers, with all gifts going to support the Jazz programs. A reception will follow Vespers in the Parish Hall.

The principal musicians for these services are Kathy Tugman and the David Walters Trio. Uniting all the elements in these services will be the swing and rhythmic drives of jazz and the vocal stylings of Kathy Tugman.

St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church is at 630 Mississippi Ave. on Signal Mountain.
