Danny Jay Poe, 59, of Jasper, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.
He attended Mercy Ministries in Dunlap.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Billy & Pearl Railey Poe; brother, Michael Lavon Poe; and nephew, James Albert Dalton.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sherry Poe; children, Raven (Jeremy) Patten of Ringgold, GA, Danielle (Matt) Patty of East Ridge, TN, Anthony (Amber) Knight and Cynthia (Jason) Layne both of Stevenson, AL; grandchildren, Makaela Patten, Jaiden Patten, Gwendolyn Patty, Landen Joel Layne, Colton Knight and Kaytie Bug Ryder; sisters, Tina (Tommy) Sales, Audrey (Allen) Dalton, Susie Ozment and Sharon Smith; brother, Sam Poe; sister-in-law, Kathy Poe; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6 at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
