Special Event Street Closures For Labor Day Weekend

Friday: 

Nightfall will take place from 5:30-11 p.m.  Market Street from 10th Street to 8th Street will be closed; Martin Luther King Boulevard from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue will be closed, and Cherry Street from ML King to 8th Street will be closed.   Visit http://www.nightfallchattanooga.com/ for more information and the music lineup.  

Sunday: 

Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street for the Chattanooga Market.  Closure will be from 6 a.m-8 p.m.  For more information, visit http://chattanoogamarket.com/.

The Run of Honor 8K will take place from 7-11 a.m. with the following lane closures:

·         Westbound Main Street between Carter Street and Central Avenue

·         The right northbound lane of Central Avenue between Main and Bailey 

·         The right eastbound lane of Bailey Avenue between Central and Holtzclaw Avenue 

·         The right southbound lane of Holtzclaw between Bailey and Main 

·         The right westbound lane of Main Street between Holtzclaw and Central

·         Both lanes of West 19th Street between Chestnut Street and Reggie White Boulevard

Monday: 

The Front Runner Athletics 5K will take place from 6:30-9:30 a.m.  The right westbound lane of Amnicola Highway before the Chattanooga State Community College driveway will be closed up to the TN Riverpark driveway.  The right westbound lane of Riverport Road from Riverside Lane to just before the TN Riverwalk Crossing will be closed as well.  Two-way traffic will remain.  Follow signs and detours and watch for runners in the road.
