Blessing of the Animals 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church
St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church will host its Annual Blessing of Animals on Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the church campus.
The event, held each year on the first Sunday of October, features not only the blessing of animals in the Episcopal tradition; but a pet parade, petting zoo, pony rides, photos taken with a pet, children’s crafts, adoptable pets and an array of pet related exhibitors. All activities are free to the community.
