Anturaum Montazz Dickey, 36, of Cleveland was taken into custody on federal warrants at a Blount Avenue residence by members of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office’s Fugitive Team, backed up by deputies from BCSO, on a tip provided by members of the United States Marshal’s Service.

An additional charge has been filed on Dickey for possessing a Serbian AK-47 style rifle, which was found with a fully-loaded magazine under a bed in the room where he was arrested.

The charge filed at the time of Dickey’s arrest was possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The original warrant for which he was arrested was for a violation of probation out of the state of Virginia through the U.S. Marshal Service.

Dickey was booked into the Bradley County Jail.

The sheriff commended the BCSO Fugitive Team and officers who assisted in taking Dickey into custody without incident. The AK-47 style rifle was secured as evidence.
