Richard Gene Baine, 51, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was a true American Patriot who loved guns and target shooting. He also enjoyed motorcycles, fast cars and trucks.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Baine of Cleveland; mother, Marion Elke Rohall Baine of Cleveland; three children, Ericka Mitchell of Cleveland, Gennifer Mitchell of Cleveland and Donald Roush of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Kaylee Burden of Cleveland, Emilee Bates of Ooltewah, Erick Mitchell of Cleveland, Ashlee Mitchell of Cleveland, Andrew Mitchell of Cleveland and Austin Roush of Athens, TN; one sister, Angalina Baine Bundy and husband, Roy Michael of Riceville, TN; niece, Megan Thea Pickering and husband, Benjamin; and nephew, Thomas Jean “T.J.” Kendrick both of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Cliff Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Erick Mitchell, Donald Roush, Justin Wall, Benjamin Pickering, Michael Bundy and Thomas Kendrick serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the funeral home prior to the service.
