The second annual Geekster, a toy and comic show, will be held in Cleveland on October 10.
The Cleveland Geekster will feature over 35 vendors with 60 tables worth of comic books, vintage toys, and fun for the entire family. The event will be held at Cleveland State Community College.
“The first Geekster was more successful than we could have hoped for,” stated Ashley Raburn, who began Geekster with his two friends, Ryan Faricelli and Rob Alderman. “We sold out of vendor space, and the venue was packed with people enjoying the day.”
With over 400 people attending the first Geekster, the trio knew it was time to begin planning the next one.
“We were just blown away at the response,” Mr.
Faricelli said. “There are so many people who really got into it. We can’t wait for year two.”
Already, word is buzzing online as more and more people share the news that Geekster is returning. The event is picking up steam on Facebook at www.facebook.com/clevelandgeekster where many attendees have already signed up to be there.
Like last year, the founders have a dedication to keep things family friendly. From the beginning, Geekster was designed to be fun for people of all ages, and to give families something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon.
“Comic books, games, and toys appeal to everyone,” said Mr. Alderman. “If you bring your family to Geeskter you are going to have a great time.”
Tickets for the Cleveland Geekster are $5 for adults and children are free. You can find out more online at
