Longtime Pastor Of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church

Benjamin B. Dawn, Jr., 84, of Flintstone, Georgia, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in a local health care facility. 

He was the pastor of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe for 31 years. 

Survivors include his wife, Martha Jo Dawn, Sons, Ben Dawn and Chris Dawn, brothers, Teddy Dawn and Wayne Dawn, sisters, Reba Hudgens and Donna Dawn and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Dailey Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville.
