River City Sessions Is Sept. 11 At The Camp House

  • Tuesday, September 1, 2015

The River City Sessions on Sept. 11 at the Camp House will feature Organized Kaos and Megan Saunders and the Driftless.  Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Review for Organized Kaos:

Think Phish meets Umphrey's McGee meets Percussion. Organized K.A.O.S is a percussion tribal band located in Chattanooga that performs in the tri-state area featuring Rick Gattone on lead guitar, Todd Bradshaw, Jerry Wallace on the didgeridoo, Wilson Harp on djembe, Debbie Cook on percussion, and Joe Ridolfo, multi-instrumentalist.

Review for Megan Saunders and the Driftless:

Megan Saunders and The Driftless  writes and performs songs that are playful, sultry and haunting – think Memphis Minnie, Bill Monroe and Tom Waits go to the carnival.  Members are Megan Saunders - songwriter, vocalist, banjo, mandolin, tenor guitar, Jason Reed - guitar and Ashley Cofield - violin. Saunders moved here from California slightly over a year ago and has appeared all over the south since.

The host for evening is Michael Gray, with co-host Dana Shavin.
