Danny Thomas Harris, 67, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Sunday, August 30, 2015.
A native of Tulsa, Ok., he had lived in the North Georgia area for the past 34 years and was formerly of Nebraska. He was a former employee of Convergys where he worked for three years and was retired from TVA.
Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Hamblin Harris; parents, Ewell Thomas and Thelma Louise Batson Harris and grandson Aaron Patrick Armour.
He is survived by two children, Sharin (Alexander) Griffin of Ringgold, and Brian Harris of Ringgold; sister, Patti Anne Washington of Sapulpa, Ok.; three grandsons, Justin Ogle, Ryan Harris and Bailey Armour and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Sept. 3, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
