Michael Thomas Shelton, 51, of Decatur, Tennessee, died on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga.
Michael was a former truck driver and was a member of the Local Teamsters Union 519. He was born in Cincinnati, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Shelton; mother, Lena “Viola” Roberts Shelton; and sister, Shirley McCumber.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Robinson Shelton, of Decatur; brother, Ricky Shelton (Tracie), of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 in the Chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with bro. Allen Bowers officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at the Bowers Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
Interment will be in Roberts Cemetery of Ten Mile, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6.
