Hyde, Winston A. "Dinky" (Cleveland)

Winston A. “Dinky” Hyde, 35, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2015 at a local Cleveland hospital.

He was a member at the Covenant Baptist Church and always loved creating music by playing the bass, guitar, and drums. 

Dinky is survived by his parents, Winston Julius Hyde and Elaine Cross Hyde; daughter, Catie Elizabeth Hyde and her mother, Denise Cook Hyde; five brothers, James Rogers, Thomas Walker, Anthony Young, Robert Ellison and David Farris; one sister, Ashley Cantrell; a special friend, Michelle Wentworth; and numerous other extended family members and special friends. 

A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. on Thursday Aug. 6, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Brother Josh Taylor officiating. Interment will be held following the service at the Old Ocoee Cemetery in Benton. 

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, as well as one hour prior to the service on Thursday, Aug. 6.
