Church Safety Training Class Will Be Offered Aug. 17

  • Tuesday, August 4, 2015
Sheriff Eric Watson announces another Church Safety Training class, scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. in the North Training Room at the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

All pastors and members who handle safety matters at their church are invited to attend this free session.  Sheriff Watson, Lt. James Bradford and former CPD Officer Bob Hanshaw, who works with First Baptist Church’s safety program, will speak.

Sheriff Watson said, “Unfortunately, there are those who wish to disrupt services or harm people in houses of worship.
I feel, in times like these, all of us need to have a plan to deal with such people.”

RSVP by contacting Lt. James Bradford at jbradford@bradleycountytn.gov.  "You are urged to do so quickly, as the previous Safety Training class saw a full house," organizers said.
