According to the report, officers responding to a reported disorder with a weapon at 3205 Calhoun Avenue saw a woman later identified as Alicia McClendon sitting on the front steps when they arrived.

“Police observed blood on the steps where she was sitting and upon her arms, legs and the back of the neck area,” according to Officer Martin’s complaint.

He said witnesses at the scene told officers that Quantanya and Alicia McClendon are sisters, and that Quantanya McClendon left the scene in a 2015 black truck following the alleged attack.

Angela Butcher, mother of the sisters, told police the attack took place in her kitchen.

A third sister, Christina – who lives next door – “advised she heard a knock at the door of 3207 Calhoun Avenue and when she opened the door she observed her sister Alicia covered in blood on her elbow, legs and head area,” Officer Martin reported. “Christina advised that Alicia was asking for a towel because she was bleeding”

The injured woman was transported by ambulance to Erlanger Hospital.
