Boy, 4, Struck By Vehicle Near Tunnel Boulevard

A four-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle near Tunnel Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 4:20 p.m.,  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 3400 Through St. on a child struck by a vehicle.

 The victim was conscious when officers arrived. He was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators are continuing to compile information to determine the facts surrounding the incident.

The extent of injuries is not known at this time. 

Through Street is off Tunnel Boulevard.
