Charles “Charlie” James Clark, died at his home in East Brainerd surrounded by family on Saturday morning, August 29, 2015.
 
He was a Vietnam veteran (Navy), an avid outdoorsman and loving family man.  He worked all his life as an engineer for 3M, General Electric, Coors, Brach and Brock, Standard Candy and Hardy Farms. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons, Thomas (Winter), James, and Chuck (Joy); daughters, Rachel and Sharleen; grandchildren, Alex and Trinity; great-grandchild, Benjamin; two sisters; and one brother.
 
The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 31, from 4-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel. 
 
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Alan Johnston officiating. 
 
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. 
 
Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
