Lanny Joe Kilgore, 61, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Nellie Mae Kilgore; and grandparents, Sam & Flora Kilgore and James “Jim” & Mamie Morrison.
He is survived by his soul mate of 21 years, Denise Gamble of Whitwell; two children, Derek Kilgore of Soddy Daisy and Devin (Annetta) Kilgore of Gruetli Laager; brothers & sisters, Ronnie (Ruth) Kilgore, Ronald (Jenny) Kilgore, Dick Kilgore, Arnold “Rooster” (Estell) Kilgore, Susie (Jimmy) Ferrell, Devota (Richard) Kilgore, Ricky (Sue) Kilgore and Jacky (Lisa) Kilgore; and two grandchildren, Arhyia Khloe Kilgore and Destiny Green.
Family will receive friends from 12-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Reynolds officiating. Interment will take place at the Richard Kilgore Family Cemetery in Whitwell.
