Bryson, Hubert Carl (Dalton)

Hubert Carl Bryson, 74, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Monday August 24, 2015 the local hospital.

Hubert was born Feb. 24, 1941 in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Owen Covey and Letha Bell Bryson; and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Bryson and Jerry Bryson; and sister, Margie Holland.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He retired from Beaulieu of American at the age of 72 after 45 years of employment.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sue Hooker Bryson of the residence; brother and sister-in-law, James and Shirley Bryson; sisters, Dimple Chastain and Frances Chastain all of Dalton, GA; special pet, “Boy” who he loved as a son; special niece, Charlotte Cothern; special friends, Steve Crumley and Juan; and several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hubert Carl Bryson will be held Friday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Deep Springs Cemetery with the American Legion Post 112 in charge of military honors.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 27 & 28.
