Mary Rollins
Mary Alice “Sweet Pea” Rollins, 80, died on August 22, 2015 at a local health care facility.
She was formerly employed with the Tessman Family and at Standard Coosa Thatcher. She was a member of Allen Temple AME Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Heathington; father, Henry Rollins and sister, Annie Ross.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Smith (John), Yolanda Smith, Angela Rollins; grandchildren, Marcus, Alicia, Maliak, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Amia Smith; siblings, Robert C. Heathington and Patricia (Lloyd) Sanderfur.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at Allen Temple AME Church with Reverend Fred Harris officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Aug. 27, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
