Meredith Williams
Meredith L. Williams, chief knowledge management officer of Baker Donelson, has been elected to her third term on the board of directors of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and will serve as president commencing in September. ILTA is governed by a seven-member board that is elected biennially.
"On behalf of ILTA, I congratulate our board electees," said Randi Mayes, executive director of ILTA. "We are proud to honor outstanding leadership and service to the association, and their election to the highest volunteer leadership position is a testament to the character of the individuals who are voted in by their peers.
Ms. Williams has a track record of stellar performance in leadership roles, and I'm looking forward to her continued service on our board of directors."
Ms. Williams has served the association in several volunteer leadership roles, including serving as a member of the Risk Management Peer Group steering committee; the conference planning committee, concluding as conference co-chair for the 2010 and 2011 conferences; and on the board of directors. She has also spoken and written on knowledge management topics for the association.
Ms. Williams oversees BakerNet, Baker Donelson's industry-leading intranet, and coordinates strategic growth on behalf of the Firm in knowledge management, competitive intelligence and technology. A 2002 graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Ms. Williams is widely recognized as a leading authority in knowledge management issues for the legal field and is a frequent presenter and author on knowledge management and competitive intelligence.
