Rock City’s Enchanted MAiZE at Blowing Springs Farm opens for the fall season on Thursday, Sept. 24. Open every Thursday through Sunday until Nov.
1, this fall festival atmosphere is sure to be an amazing place to enjoy seasonal festivities.
Back for its 14th season, the new maze design shows the farm’s theme of “sunny days of fall” featuring sunflowers, pumpkins and of course – a call to get lost in the corn. New this year is a corn crib station! Imagine a giant sandbox filled with dried corn.
The Critter Corral (bagbyscrittercorral.com) also returns Fridays through Sundays with a variety of animals to pet and get photos with. Interact with furry friends in this petting zoo - including mini cows, donkeys, horses, rabbits, sheep, alpacas and pigs.
Come pick out a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch maze and take a ride on the cow train or hayride. And don’t forget to try some fried Oreos. This is a 2015 Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society.
For more info on farm activities and operating times, go to www.enchantedmaze.com. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can also visit the web link to enter a scout pumpkin carving contest.
Tickets at the farm include the maze, hayride, cow train, playground, corn slingshots, corn crib, Critter Corral and pumpkin maze. And if you are brave enough, get a combo ticket and stay for the nighttime haunt Fridays and Saturdays in October where the site is turned into Blowing Screams Farm (www.blowingscreamsfarm.com).
