Chattanooga's Milk & Honey, Clyde's Expanding To Nashville

  • Monday, August 24, 2015

Chattanooga's Milk & Honey as well as the Clyde's restaurant are expanding to Nashville.

Mike and Taylor Monen, who earlier opened a Milk & Honey unit at 135 N. Market St. that features pure gelato, craft coffee and fresh fruit popsicles made from scratch daily, are opening at The Gulch at 214 11th Ave. S.

They will be in a 5,000-square-foot space that is part of a development by MarketStreet Enterprises.

The Monens also plan to open Clyde's on Church in Nashville early next year. It will be at 1700 Church St. and is patterned after Clyde's on Main that operates on Chattanooga's Southside in the former Clyde's Auto Glass.

Jay Turner, managing director of MarketStreet Enterprises, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Milk & Honey to the Gulch and to Nashville.  Milk & Honey will bring a new type of dining to the Gulch that will appeal to employees working in Gulch Crossing, as well as residents and visitors to the neighborhood.”

The Monens already have Taco Mamacita restaurants in both Chattanooga and Nashville. They also operate Urban Stack and Community Pie in Chattanooga.
