Thelma Edith Tripp, 93, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Tripp was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Rocky Face, Ga., daughter of the late Artie E. and Annie Laura Jones Scott. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Tripp; and a son, Leonard Tripp.
Mrs. Tripp is survived by her sons, Ralph W. Tripp and Raymond D. Tripp; five grandchildren, Sam B. Tripp, Chris Tripp, Shane Tripp, Joey Tripp, and Tina Swan; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Tripp will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the Old Trion Cemetery.
