Chattanooga's Mitch Rossell Was One Of The Stars Of Pops On The River

Chattanooga Presents brought a native Chattanoogan to Pops on the River.  Mitch Rossell, born and schooled in Chattanooga, returned from Nashville to join his band and many family and friends in Coolidge Park.

Mitch, who is enjoying a successful singing and song writing career in Nashville, recently recorded an album and several videos.  A video completed months ago called “A Soldier’s Memoir” here recognizes and pays respect to our military veterans and active duty men and women.

Mitch closed out his nearly hour set with the song that silenced the crowd - showing a high level respect for the 4th of July celebration for all military personnel and America as a free country.

The celebration included another Nashville band Ironglide, and the Chattanooga Symphony. The event ended with a beautiful display of fireworks.
