The Silence Is Deafening - And Response

  • Thursday, July 30, 2015

In this week’s news cycle we have the international uproar over the killing of Cecil the lion. In the same time most national news outlet refuse to even mention the undercover videos of so call doctors and technicians discussing the harvesting, processing and sale of human baby body parts.

The argument by those liberal, progressive Democrats has been that the “fetus” was an un-viable blob of cells that one can not discern it as a baby.

Now, according to the testimony of these barbaric people, they are able to identify heads, brains, hands, feet, livers and hearts in their discussions on how they can harvest these parts of a child with out crushing or harming the “specimens”. Now in the process of my thinking if it has the same parts and features and it is alive and feels pain as I do then it must be a child. The only thing that they refuse to acknowledge is that this person has a life and soul and should have the right to live as grated to them by God.

As the main stream media and those who support infanticide either ignore or try to deflect the matter by blaming the undercover operative, the silence is deafening and the defense of this practice can not be supported by anyone with any kind of heart or feeling. I commend those senators who seek to defund Planned Butcherhood but still why are we not shouting from the rooftops that this must stop. We have been bullied and fooled into thinking that we must keep our mouths shut and that this is an issue between a woman and her doctor. This is no longer a private issue between a woman and her doctor as there is a third party that has no representation other than someone with common sense that can recognize a child for who they are and hopefully stand up and speak out for the most venerable creature on the earth.

I fear that as we stand in judgment as individuals and as a nation and have to answer for this and that our silence will be deafening.

Well stated, Mr. Reed.

PP staff members butcher babies in the womb, and sell their parts for profit. Because some doctor wants a Lamborghini. Let that sink in folks. Why are people not horrified?

People reason that these "specimens" will be used to make someone else's life better. Is it right to kill one person so another can have a good life? And besides, little good has come from any of this research. I bet PP aren't the only ones involved in this unbelievable activity.

People reason that PP should continue to be funded, because they offer other great services. Would we allow a serial killer to walk the streets just because they volunteer at the homeless shelter ladling soup? Other organizations offer these services and funds are in place for those who need it.

Clearly, our government won't stop these atrocities. But there is one group of Americans who can stop them - pregnant women. For now, no one is being forced to have an abortion. I say, Choose Life ladies.

The rest of us can support the women who say "yes" to life. We can support adoption and provide emotional and financial support to mothers who keep their babies. There are organizations who do this already. Send them a check.  Medical providers can donate time to help these women. Support people who work at preventing birth defects. (Many parents testify that their severely disabled child is the biggest blessing they have ever received, but they need help to care for them.) Challenging situations will arise, but they aren't insurmountable. Americans can pull together when we choose. These are the efforts we should support.  I know I will personally be looking for more opportunities.

Let's not forget unwanted pregnancies are preventable. There are more birth control options now available and accessible than ever. Abortion advocates would have us believe that most abortions are sought due to rape and incest, but those situations make up only a small percentage of cases. Prevention.

Finally, abortion is not the friend of women. Abortion scars women physically and emotionally, and even some fathers suffer deep hurt by this unwitting decision. No one talks much about the fallout, but it's there. There's hope for these folks at Choices Pregnancy Services.

Abortion can be a thing of the past if Americans want it.

Deeply grieved,
Joyce Hague
