The Chattanooga Lookouts battled back from a four-run deficit, but could not hold on and ended up falling in extra-innings to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos by a score of 10-9.
Over the first three innings Pensacola tallied four runs on seven hits. Already in a four-run hole the Lookouts got on the board in the fourth inning when Stuart Turner scored on a Levi Michael double.
An inning later both teams traded runs to make the score 5-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. In that inning the Lookouts began to chip away at the lead with a RBI double by Aderling Mejia and a RBI single by Shannon Wilkerson.
Trailing only by one run the Lookouts took the lead on a Max Kepler two-run homer. Chattanooga expanded their lead in the inning to three on a Mejia two-run single.
The Lookouts seemed to be on their way to another win, but Pensacola tied it up with a three-run ninth inning. In extras the Blue Wahoos offense carried over their momentum and scored two runs in the top of the tenth to capture the win.
