University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior quarterback Jacob Huesman was named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) 2015 FCS National Performer of the Year Trophy Watch List.
The list includes thirty-two returning performers from the Football Championship Subdivision. The award winner will be announced January 13, 2016.
Huesman has already garnered numerous preseason honors, including Southern Conference Preseason Offensive Player of the Year honor at last week’s media day.
He is also on the STATS Preseason Second Team All-American squad and listed among the STATS Preseason Offensive Player of the Year candidates.
The Mocs are set to open fall training camp on Monday, Aug. 3, at Scrappy Moore Field. The season kicks off with a huge top-10 matchup against Jacksonville State on Saturday, Sept. 5.
