Palmer, Horace "Danny" (Ooltewah)

Horace "Danny" Palmer, 66, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015.

He was born July 18, 1949. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Palmer; three brothers, Joe, Larry and Roy Palmer; two sisters, Linda and Brenda Palmer; two grandsons, Leroy Jackson and Andrew Randolph.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Palmer; mother, Willamae Palmer; three daughters, Barbara Palmer, Trisha and Wayne Randolph and Autumn Palmer; two step-sons, Greg and Tammy Young, Keith and Stephanie Young; two sisters, Sandra Hughes and Shirley Gates; two brothers, Calvin and Alvin Palmer; seven grandchildren, Joshua Palmer, Jaclynn Roberson, Austin Randolph, Brady, Hailie, Sarah and Trevor Young; and two great-grandchildren, Kamaria and Kylie Palmer.

There will be a memorial open to family and friends at Mountain Oaks Chapel, 9508 Church Street, Ooltewah TN, 37363 Sunday, July 26, from 4-6 p.m.

A private burial will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Grissom Serenity Funeral Home.
