The Pioneer Building at 801 Broad St. has sold for $7 million.

The sale is to Pioneer Investors Llc from 801 Associates Llc.

It was built in 1962 as the headquarters of Pioneer Bank.

It now serves as the home of CapitalMark Bank & Trust and a number of law firms and other professionals.

The building features its own parking facility (CitiPark) that serves the building's tenants and their clients.  

Berry & Hunt officials said they have implemented recent improvements at the Pioneer Building geared toward improving and enhancing its sustainability program, such as a lighting retrofit program; the installation of a Live Roof; and photostatic sensors to aid in daylight harvesting.
