Sara Jane Hunt, 30, of Hixson, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

Sara was born in Great Lakes, Il., and was a graduate of Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. She had previously worked at JC Penney Shoe Department, Jefferson’s Restaurant, Hertz Car Rental at the Chattanooga Airport, Marriott Hotel Downtown, CSL Plasma and Hixson’s Staples.

She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and belonged to the church bell choir and the young adult Bible study group, both of which she enjoyed.

Surviving are her parents, Carl and Esther Hunt; sisters, Ann (Brandon) White; Nyssa Hunt and Elora Hunt; and nephew, Finn White.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, July 6, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend Barry Hildebrandt officiating.

Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Garden, Hixson.

Memorial donations may be made to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 3204 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.
