Doyle E. "Tim" Bass, 56, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at his home.
He was of the Baptist faith. Tim was a heavy equipment operator and loved to compete with his skills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin Dale Bass and Ruby Tate Bass; son, Nathaniel Lee Bass; and brother, Bobby Bass.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Barnes-Bass; son, Daniel Wilson; his brother, Wayne "Tiny" Bass; sisters, Ola and Billy Hudson and Delietha Bass, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Sam and Amie Wilson; niece, Amy L. Hudson; and nephew, Jeffery L. Bass.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Thursday, July 2, in the Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Millie Bonham officiating. Burial will follow in Thans Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, July 2 at the Ewton Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
