Ongoing

Paris – During BASSFest, the BassMaster Elites will hold their fishing tournament and BassMaster University, along with a festival with catfish races, a petting zoo, kid’s carnival and more through June 7 at Paris Landing State Park.

Memphis – The Children’s Museum of Memphis has extended hours of all exhibitions 9 a.m.

to 6 p.m. through Sept. 7.

June 4-6

Covington – Enjoy the 43rd Annual Oldest Barbeque Cooking Contest with barbecue cooking, live music, tractor pulls, demolition derby and more at Cobb-Parr Park. The event is free and open to the public.

June 5

Nashville – Italian Style: Fashion since 1945 and Jaume Plensa: Human Landscape are open to the public at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

June 5-6

Blountville – Enjoy the Amateur Racing THOR Mega Series, Barbie Car Race & Pit Bike Race, Red Bull Tennessee PRO National, and Amateur Racing Mega, Ultra, & SAS Series at Muddy Creek Raceway.

Millington – Snag the chance to see “Street Outlaws” battle it out at Catch the Outlaws weekend at Memphis International Raceway.

Knoxville – Les Misérables, the classic story by Victor Hugo about a nation in the midst of revolution, will be performed by the Tennessee Valley Players at the Carousel Theatre.

June 6

Linden – Enjoy Music on Main Street, a summer outdoor concert series celebrating six years, with music by Daphne & the Mystery Machines 7:30 p.m. at the Perry County Courthouse Square.

Ripley – Bring a lawn chair, blanket and picnic for live music by the Germantown Symphony Orchestra during Pops on the Square 6:30 p.m. in downtown Ripley.

Gatlinburg – The annual Children’s Trout Rodeo is open to kids 16 years-old and younger 7:30 a.m. at Herbert Holt Park.

Cornersville – Participate in the early 20th century art of an Edwardian afternoon tea 1 p.m. at Historic Lairdland Farm House. Advanced registration is encouraged by calling 931-363-2205.

Nashville – Be sure to see Red Grooms: The Blue and The Gray and The Civil War and Reconstruction in Tennessee exhibitions before they close June 7 at the Tennessee State Museum.

Monteagle – Youth workshops revolving around music, nature, and outdoor sports will take place at the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly.

June 9

Memphis – Listen to the Stax Music Academy Alumni Band perform a variety of songs 2-4 p.m. in Studio A at Stax Museum of American Soul Music.

June 11

Memphis – Sing along to the classic movie Grease as part of the Summer Movie Series 7 p.m. at The Orpheum Theatre.

Nashville – Enjoy a performance by Lunch Money as they provide music for Family Night Out 6:30 p.m. at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

West, Middle Tennessee – Shop along the Highway 70 Yard Sale, a 200-mile sale stretching from Memphis to Nashville.

Manchester – Some of the world’s best music artists will flock to Bonnaroo for one of Tennessee’s largest music festivals in Manchester.

Nashville – See the biggest and brightest country music stars on a variety of stages at CMA Music Festival. Enjoy free entertainment, vendors, food and more in downtown Nashville.

Bristol – The inaugural PUSH! Film Festival will welcome the best films and filmmakers in the region for screenings and workshops in the Paramount Center for the Arts, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Bristol Public Library and Cumberland Square Park.

June 12-21

Spring City – Dames at Sea, the long-running, off-Broadway show that catapulted Bernadette Peters to fame will be performed at the Tennessee Valley Theatre. Tickets are $12.

June 13

Knoxville – More than 10,000 pounds of wings will be served along with live music and entertainment during the Big Kahuna Wing Festival at World’s Fair Park.

June 13-14

Nashville – See Studio Tenn’s performance of The Wizard of Oz starring Broadway’s Diana DeGarmo at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

June 14

Nashville – Sunday Fundays will begin with special activities and character meet-and-greets featuring Paddington Bear for the first Funday 1 p.m. at the Nashville Zoo.
