Jonathan “Jon” Bruce Pelham, 40, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, June 29, 2015.

Jon was born and raised in Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Boyd Buchannan High School and received his associate's in computer science from Electronic Computer Programming College.  He attended Tyner Church of Christ and Brainerd Church of Christ. 

Jon was self-employed as the owner and operator of Pelham Lawn and Landscape. He was a member of the East Ridge Masonic Lodge #755, and several cigar clubs, including the Saints & Sinners Cigar Club, a lifetime member of Cigar Rights of America and Room 101 family. Jon loved the Duke Blue Devils and was their #1 fan since the age of 10.

Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Mandy Pelham; parents, Jerry and Sue Pelham; brother, Jared (Janice) Pelham; nephew, Caleb Pelham; uncle, Paul and Linda Cook; aunt, Pat Bowman; several cousins; in-laws, Danny and Dorinda McDowell; sister-in-law, Jenny (Jason) Bean; brothers and sisters of the leaf; and childhood friends, Andrew Fisher and Matt Dendy; and beloved pets, Duke, Dutchess, Bella, Neo and Sinbad .

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, and from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at the funeral home with Minister John Cupp officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Behcet’s Disease Association ( behcets.com  or ABDA, PO BOX 80576, Rochester, MI 48308 ) or to the Juvenile Diabetes Association (JDRF.org or JDRF, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004).

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
