Billy Baker Allen, 90, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Monday, June 29, 2015.

Bill was born on Jan. 5, 1925 in Nashville.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of more than 68 years, Daisy Allen; sister, Elizabeth Smith; and brother, John Allen.

Bill is survived by his three sons, Dr. William (Melinda), John (Beverly) Allen and Maxie Allen; daughter, Beth Ann Allen; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.

Graveside service and interment will be on Thursday, July 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors with Chaplain Sanford White officiating. Pallbearers will be John Allen, Baker Allen, Dickie Morgan, Boofer Wilkey, Chaz Shuford, John Muse, and Jim Arledge. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Thompson and Rafal Pawlowski, Abram Smith, Tom Smith, Joe Butt, and Baker Allen, Jr. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bill’s name to the  American Legions Post  at Northgate and CHES.

Arrangements are by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
