United Community Bank announced veteran banker, Matt Jenne as the market president for Bradley County. Mr. Jenne has invested his entire professional career in Bradley County.

“It is our sincere pleasure to welcome Matt to the United leadership team,” said Steve Hurst, regional president at United Community Bank.

“His demonstrated leadership combined with experience and passion for the banking industry will allow United to continue to provide exemplary customer service to our customers in this community.”

Mr. Jenne has served as the senior vice president and area executive for Bradley County at First National Bank since 2009 and has been with the bank since 2005. United Community Bank recently closed a merger with First National Bank and Matt is leading the way in integrating customers and employees from the two institutions in the Bradley County area.

United Community Bank opened its first branch in Bradley County in 2006 under the strong leadership of Mickey Torbett. Upon Mr. Torbett’s retirement in 2014, Jim Pemberton stepped in to serve as interim leader for the market. Both men provided exceptional leadership and supported the growth of the bank’s presence in Bradley County.

“I look forward to building upon the strong foundation created by Mickey and Jim in this special community,” said Mr. Jenne. “As we come together to serve Bradley County, we will work hard to deliver an expanded array of products and services to our customers.”

A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Mr. Jenne is a member of the board and 2015 Campaign co-chairman for the United Way of Bradley County and also serves on the board of the Cleveland Family YMCA. He and his wife Erin have two children, Will, 15, and Jake, 11. He will be charged with leading an excellent team out of Bradley County. He and his team are committed to improving the lives of residents in Bradley County by demonstrating why United Community Bank is known as “The Bank That Service Built.”
