Make an appointment to donate blood at the Humane Educational Society this Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and not only will you be helping individuals in need but a monetary donation will also be made to HES for each person who donates blood.
"Don't miss this special chance to give back to your community," organizers said.
The blood drive will be at 212 N. Highland Park Ave. Appointments are appreciated, but not required. To sign up, visit www.bloodassurance.org/hes.
All donors will receive a limited edition lidded Solo cup.
Food will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting HES.
