Mary Maxwell
Mary Walker Maxwell, 74, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at her residence.
Mrs. Maxwell was born June 22, 1940, in Bonny Blue, Va., daughter of the late James Earl and Tansy Edwards Walker. She was a member of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Church, and prior to her retirement, she was employed with Southern Airways.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Jerry" Maxwell; and her son, Michael "Sean" Maxwell.
Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alissa Maxwell Porter and Buddy Porter, Jr.,several nieces and nephews, great-nephews, and a great-niece.
Mrs. Maxwell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24. Private interment in Greenhills Memory Gardens will follow.
