The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Tennessee American Water Company and the Hamilton County Coalition, will participate in Westside Missionary Baptist Church’s “Community Day of Caring” on Saturday.
From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. HCSO Drug Take Back Program personnel will be available to assist with the disposal of prescription medicines.
Westside Community Baptist Church is at 4001 Hughes Ave.
During this time of celebration, residents may bring unused, unnecessary, or expired prescriptions to be correctly and safely disposed of by law enforcement personnel.
Furthermore, the festivities include free health screenings, food, games and door prizes. Various organizations will be represented, such as Alexian Brothers, Mary Ellen Locher Mammogram Coach, Sound Living Counsel and more.
