Local Trio Led Darlington Soccer To Championship

This past weekend, Darlington Soccer Academy U14 team anchored by local players Mitchell Crispin (McCallie School), Trey Hamilton (Lake Forrest MS) and Scott Payne (Signal Mountain), won the Challenger Cup Soccer Tournament in Charleston, South Carolina.

Darlington defeated the opposition this weekend by a total of 16 goals while only allowing 3 goals over 4 games.

Crispin, playing as a striker, was credited with 7 goals and 1 assist for the weekend.

Hamilton, playing midfield, was solid in transitioning the game and setting the pace which is indicative of how well Darlington played as a team this weekend.

 Payne, playing center back, used his defensive instincts and physical play to limit the opposition to just 3 goals total for the weekend.

Darlington Soccer Academy U14 team is coached by Chad Liddle and Joshua Crispin. Darlington is currently ranked 10 in Georgia by Soccer in College.
