James Clayton
James Robert “Elvis” Clayton, 57, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, May 4, 2015.
He helped out at D & D Auto Salvage for many years. James loved dirt track racing and going to the drag strip.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Doyle Clayton, Sr. and Mildred Penny Clayton and siblings, Raymond Doyle Clayton, Jr., Johnny Ray Clayton and Marina Clayton Walker.
Survivors include his daughters, P.J. Clayton and Natasha Skinner (Justin); sister, Brenda Redden; grandchildren, Kayleigh Skinner, Kayden Skinner, Allen Clayton and Danny Engle and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at East Soddy Community Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Goins officiating.
Visitation is on Wednesday, May 6, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
