Art Creations has joined with arts manufacturers and distributors to provide a series of events designed especially for area educators.  Those in the local arts world, including Winsor and Newton, Strathmore, Pentel, Ampersand, Faber Castel, Speedball, Golden and ColArt representatives, devised educational demos during Art Creations 18th Annual Arts Educators Evening on Thursday.

During the two Art Expo days, educators, artists and the general public participated in workshops introducing new products, instructing in new techniques and generating classroom applications.

In addition, Winsor and Newton and Canson sponsored a series of seminars featured renowned watercolor artists, Tom Jones of Florida and Larry Leech of Georgia.

Art Creations, founded in 1972 by Tony Mines, has two locations, downtown at 201 Frazier Ave. and in the Hamilton Place area on Commons Boulevard.
