Jesse Lee “Sonny” Gray, 82, of Rossville, died on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at a local hospital. 

Sonny was born in Lytle, Ga., on April 24, 1933, to the late Isiah Newton Gray and Edith Hilda Johnston Gray.  He had lived most of his life in the North Georgia area where he had worked for Harts Auto Parts as well as United Auto Parts.  He was a United States Air Force veteran, was a member of St. Elmo Avenue Masonic Lodge # 773 F&AM, a member of the Alhambra Shrine, and the American Legion Post 95.

Other than his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his brother, Charles R. Gray.

Survivors include his son, Anthony Lee Gray of Chattanooga; and sister, Anna Belle Gray McKinney of Elk Park, NC.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
