Betty Worsham
Betty Flo Worsham , 91, of Knoxville, previously of Chattanooga, died on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Betty Flo was born and raised in St. Elmo, graduating from Chattanooga High School and the University of Chattanooga. She was employed at UC in the Dean of Students office until she met Luke Worsham. They were married in August 1950 and moved to Baylor School, where she lived until 2008. There, she worked in the library and was a mother to Baylor students for many years. In 2008, she moved to Knoxville to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Dotty and Allen Lowe. Betty Flo is a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church.
Betty Flo was preceded in death by her parents, W. H. and Bess Oldis; her sister, Gloria Oldis Gross; and her husband, Luther Worsham, Jr.
Betty Flo is survived by her daughters, Dotty Lowe (Allen) of Knoxville and Myra Martin (Mark) of Abingdon, VA; two grandchildren, Drew Martin of Meadowview, VA and Karen Martin of Spartanburg, SC; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. on June 2, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with funeral services to follow the visitation at 7 p.m.
Burial will be 11:30 a.m. on June 3, 2015 in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Chaplin Dan Scott of Baylor School officiating.
