Mary Katherine Boran Cushing, 75, died on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at home with her sisters and family.

Mary was a loving caretaker to her family, and she enjoyed dancing with her senior family and friends at Troy’s and the East Ridge Senior Center. Mary attended the Bible Way Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ella Mae Boran, and brother, Rick Boran.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Kim (Jamie); grandchild, Kennedy; sister, Jean (Lloyd) Walraven, JoAnn (David) Frye; brothers, Sonny (Carolyn) Boran, Bill (Louise) Boran and Jack (Linda) Boran; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, from 3-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Vincent Estill officiating.

Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

A special thanks to her caretakers from Tapestry Hospice, Tina, Holly, Rebecca and Chaplain Tim Samples and from Home Health, Yolanda.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Bible Way Baptist Church, 2502 Lakeview Drive, Rossville, Ga. 30741 or to Hospice.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
